- ➤ Cases of infant botulism linked to the ByHeart formula recall nearly tripled from 13 to 31 since November 8, with Texas reporting six, California four, and Arizona and Oregon three cases each — all affected infants were hospitalized and no deaths occurred. ByHeart recalled all batches of its formula sold online and at major retailers and urged caregivers to stop using the product immediately and monitor their children for symptoms. The Arizona Republic
