  • A strong solar storm is making the northern lights visible in parts of Arizona—residents in Maricopa might notice a colorful glow in the sky as the phenomenon spreads across the area.  12 News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Katie Hobbs wrote a letter to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum asking the federal government to add clear rules for saving water in a new Colorado River plan after states missed the November 11 deadline. The letter calls for steps to protect Arizona's water supply as the current plan ends next fall — measures seen as crucial for the state.  The Arizona Republic
  • APS is asking regulators to approve a $579 million rate increase that would add about $20 to monthly bills — more than two dozen consumer, business and environmental groups have intervened to challenge the proposal. The groups will argue for changes to protect rates and shape APS’s energy policies as the review proceeds.  The Arizona Republic

  • On November 10, the Phoenix Suns beat the New Orleans Pelicans 121-98 at Mortgage Matchup Center as Grayson Allen scored a career-high 42 points and made a record 10 three-pointers—boosting the team's record to 6-5.
