  • Renovo Home Partners filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on November 3 and shut down its website, which caused the closure of 19 affiliated companies. Arizona customers using services from affiliates — including Reborn Cabinets and Dreamstyle Remodeling— are now facing unfinished home projects and uncertain next steps.  The Arizona Republic
  • Wendy's said it will close a mid single-digit percentage of its stores (estimated at about 240 to 360 nationally) starting in the fourth quarter and may shutter some of its 106 Arizona outlets. The move follows last year's closure of 140 locations as part of efforts to boost franchise performance.  The Arizona Republic

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Katie Hobbs said on Friday that the state approved sending full SNAP benefits to nearly 900,000 Arizonans this November. The USDA will follow a federal court order to pay all benefits—ending weeks of delay.  KTAR

HEALTH NEWS

  • Proposition 409 passed with 51% support to fund a nearly $900M bond that will expand health care services by building a new 200-bed behavioral hospital to replace an old facility. The bond will also boost pediatric and primary care — and raise property taxes by 11 cents per $100—to address growing mental health needs in Maricopa County.  12 News
