- ➤ Former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb filed his statement of interest to run for Congress in District 5, an area that covers Queen Creek, Gilbert and Apache Junction—he served eight years as sheriff, lost a 2024 Senate primary to Kari Lake, and will face former state lawmaker Travis Grantham and former Cardinals kicker Jay Feely in the GOP primary.
