  • Tolleson Union High School District Superintendent Jeremy Calles threatened a defamation suit against Rep. Matt Gress on Oct.1, claiming the representative's comments harmed his consulting business and cost $150,000 in revenue—this dispute follows a $25 million loan to Isaac Elementary and a joint audit committee hearing that led to a special audit scheduled for completion by 2027.  The Arizona Republic

  • The Battle of the Branches 5K raised funds to help prevent veteran suicides—military members from every branch took part—showing support for veterans' mental health.  12 News
