HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ AHCCCS said it sent emails by mistake on Aug. 29 that exposed private health details for more than 3,000 Arizonans because of a staff error in creating the email list. The agency stopped the mailing and began an investigation while offering free credit reporting services — officials say new checks will help stop similar errors in the future. KJZZ
- ➤ Dr. Shawn Stevenson of Dignity Health said women in perimenopause and menopause often gain weight when their hormones drop and metabolism slows down— advising them to try diet changes, portion control, and regular resistance training to build lean muscle.
