- ➤ At the Papago Park Campus, the Arizona Humane Society’s bottle baby ICU saved over 3,000 kittens in 2024 and will try to more than double that number this summer—volunteers and staff provide 24/7 care amid a surge in rescues from warmer weather. The effort comes as free-roaming cats increase in the area and more sick or abandoned kittens need urgent help. The Arizona Republic
