- ➤ Chandler police recommended a felony child abuse charge against Brady Kiser after his 3-year-old son Trigg drowned in May when he lost sight of the boy near the family’s backyard pool — prosecutors from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will review the recommendation. The Arizona Republic
- ➤ Chandler police recommended a Class 4 felony child abuse charge against Brady Kiser for the drowning death of his three year old son Trigg on May 18—Kiser said he lost track of Trigg while caring for their newborn, and officials noted that charges in child drownings are rare. - ➤ Gov. Katie Hobbs announced on Wednesday morning that the state partnered with Undue Medical Debt to cancel $429 million in medical debt for over 352,000 Arizonans. The initiative—funded by American Rescue Plan Act funds—aims to cancel about $2 billion in medical debt over two years. 12 News
