- ➤ A Phoenix man filed a federal lawsuit against the city and four officers, alleging they pressed him against hot concrete last summer and caused third-degree burns that led to over 30 days of hospital treatment—his next hearing is set for Oct 1. The Arizona Republic
- ➤ A man was extradited from Mexico City and booked into Maricopa County Jail on Friday after he reportedly kidnapped his two noncustodial children during a supervised visit six years ago + he now faces charges including kidnapping, molestation of a minor, sexual exploitation, child abuse, and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
