- ➤ Timothy James Wood, 36, was accused of holding a woman captive in a Phoenix backyard shed for about two weeks and abusing her, while court records show he once pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in 2007 and was imprisoned in 2010 for domestic violence violations — he now faces charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, and aggravated assault. - ➤ Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is now using X-ray body-scanning technology to stop drugs and contraband from being smuggled into jails. Deputy Chief Michael Dawson said the scanners will work with pat-down searches—serving as probable cause for more invasive screening. KJZZ
