- ➤ Chandler police are still investigating the drowning of 3-year-old Trigg Kiser—who was last seen playing near the pool on May 12 while his father, Brady, cared for their newborn—and redacted records may soon be released after his mother, influencer Emilie Kiser, filed a lawsuit to protect her family's privacy. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Mehrad Asadi Eidivand, an Iranian asylum seeker held at an ICE center in Florence, went on a hunger strike from June 6 to June 13 that led to kidney failure and a hospital visit. The government asked a judge on June 23 to allow forced IV feeding for him—he had planned another hunger strike on June 16 as his immigration hearing was delayed for September. The Arizona Republic
