Hobbs signed a bill on Friday that allowed local and state tax dollars from Chase Field sales and income to be used for major repairs up to $500 million—figures that will adjust for inflation—with the work expected to help secure a new lease deal for the Arizona Diamondbacks as they plan to modernize the stadium for fans.
