- ➤ Carlos Maximilliano Galvan of Maricopa killed tribal police officer Bryan Brown nearly five years ago outside a casino and has now been sentenced to 44 years in federal prison—Galvan pled guilty to second-degree murder after he drove his patrol vehicle into Brown during a 911 call. KTAR

- ➤ A new Arizona bill on Gov. Hobbs' desk would let students and parents sue teachers if they teach or promote antisemitism — critics say it could worsen the teacher shortage and restrict free speech.
