Michaels announced on June 5 that it acquired Joann’s intellectual property and private label brands after Joann closed its stores due to bankruptcy, and the company will add over 600 new fabric, sewing and yarn products later this year.

The expansion will boost offerings in its 28 local stores—bringing familiar brands and tools to Arizona shoppers.
