HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ AHS warned residents that pet overpopulation is growing after sheltering 25,000 animals last year and could reach 28,000 if urgent action is not taken. Valley philanthropist Ann Siner pledged $600,000 to fund a spay + neuter drive to curb the crisis. KTAR
- ➤ The American Red Cross is urging local residents to donate blood and platelets as scheduled appointments have dropped (a shortage persists), and donors are encouraged to visit nearby centers soon. 12 News
