Good morning, Maricopa.

Today, Lowe's is hosting a giveaway for the first 150 MyLowe's Rewards members at local Lowe's stores as part of MyLowe's Rewards Week, which runs May 8 through 14, and the free membership offers tiered benefits—like faster points, free shipping, and extra gifts—when shoppers make purchases online or in-store.

A breast cancer survivor will throw out the first pitch at the D-backs game on Mother's Day—she aims to mark the occasion with a gesture honoring her recovery.

Luis González, a Diamondbacks legend, talked about his Mexican heritage and the team's new uniforms in an interview.

He explained how the designs honor cultural traditions (a key element for the team), adding a special touch to their identity.

The Diamondbacks will begin a series against the Dodgers today at Chase Field when Corbin Burnes takes the mound against Dustin May while Eduardo Rodriguez seeks to overcome past struggles against Los Angeles—he gave up three runs in four innings in his only past outing against them. Additional games are scheduled on May 11 at Chase Field and May 12 in San Francisco with matchups featuring Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly.
