- ➤ Today, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality issued an Ozone High Pollution Advisory for Maricopa County as ozone levels are forecast to exceed federal health standards from vehicle and industrial emissions. The advisory restricts outdoor wood burning and leaf blower use — and residents, especially children, seniors, and those with breathing problems, are urged to limit outdoor activities.
