- ➤ Some drivers with a Real ID who are concerned about privacy can switch back to a standard license by paying an age-based fee before the May 7 deadline — ADOT says about 85% of applicants currently choose the Real ID for federal travel needs. The Arizona Republic
- ➤ Arizona residents need one document to prove birth, two printed documents to verify address and a Social Security number for a Real ID that becomes required May 7 — the application begins online, takes two to three weeks and finishes with an in-person interview. Those without a Real ID may use a passport, passport card or other approved identification to meet TSA security checks. The Arizona Republic
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Heat Relief Network 2025 campaign launched last Thursday to offer free cooled spaces until Sept. 30 for people to stay safe during the hottest months in metro Phoenix. Maricopa County Public Health coordinates the effort and uses grants to extend site hours (open until 7 p.m. on weekdays and select weekend days) and share safety tips (via a searchable website with locations and hours).
