- ➤ William Hines, one of seven defendants in the Preston Lord case, pled guilty and will be sentenced soon. 12 News
- ➤ Katrina Woods, 33, of Maricopa, is accused of fraud for filing a $23,441 disaster relief claim by listing a false Altadena, California address and staying at hotels in Los Angeles and Hawthorne—FEMA stopped her Los Angeles reservation on March 10 and she was arrested in Arizona on April 23. Hobbs signed House Bill 2945 to secure emergency funding for the Division of Developmental Disabilities — which serves nearly 60,000 people — and limit paid caregiving hours to 40 for families. The bill passed the House by a 48-11-1 vote and the Senate by a 28-1-1 vote, ending a signing moratorium. 12 News
