  • A 76-year-old local hiker (veteran Mark Young) was rescued after being lost for three days while camping near Bloody Basin Road in Verde Valley; his son located him on Apr. 20 during a multi-agency search.  The Arizona Republic

CULTURE NEWS

  • Live Nation will offer $30 tickets for dozens of upcoming Arizona concerts during its 2026 Summer of Live campaign, which runs from April 29 — May 5. Tickets become available online starting Wednesday at 10 a.m., with early access for Live Nation All Access members and T-Mobile customers.  KTAR

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Twelve students from Perry High School are enlisting in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force & Army National Guard as they pledge military service. They will begin their service soon.  12 News
