- ➤ Fogo de Chão has leased an 8,424-square-foot space in the Signature at SanTan Village retail center in Gilbert to open its second location in the Valley. The restaurant space will be delivered by Nov. 27 and the 20-year lease with four five-year extensions prevents the center from hosting another full-service Brazilian or South American-themed steakhouse—ensuring exclusivity in the area. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The Anti-Defamation League reported that antisemitic incidents in Arizona dropped 25% in 2024 as harassment fell from 141 to 42 and campus events declined by 33%, but assaults increased from 0 to 2 and vandalism rose 18% to 26 incidents—raising concern about the rise in targeted violence. - ➤ Former Cardinals kicker Jay Feely announced his run for Congress on Tuesday at a Gilbert event to represent Arizona’s 5th Congressional District — covering Gilbert, Queen Creek, parts of Chandler and Mesa.
