  • Country Thunder Arizona will take place at Canyon Moon Ranch in Florence from April 10th to 13th with headliners like Riley Green and Keith Urban, and heavy traffic is expected during the dinnertime rush between 6 and 7 p.m.—festival officials advise drivers to arrive early, pre-pay parking, have tickets ready, and consider shuttle service from Mesa and Apache Junction to reduce delays.  The Arizona Republic

CRIME NEWS

  • Tempe police linked three men to a series of ATM robberies in multiple states after a misplaced PS5 controller pointed to a Houston-based syndicate during a November 5 incident at a Bank of America drive-thru in Tempe — the suspects stole about $279,000 before FBI agents arrested them in Houston with two extradited to Arizona and one awaiting extradition.  The Arizona Republic

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Eleven FBI agents arrived in Arizona as part of Operation Not Forgotten to help solve unsolved violent crimes in Native American communities—working with the Bureau of Indian Affairs Missing and Murdered Unit and local agencies. They will work on ongoing cases on a temporary assignment and rotate every 90 days through September.  KTAR

HEALTH NEWS

  • A new report lists 12 venomous animals in Arizona, including the bark scorpion, black widow and Western diamondback rattlesnake, that can inject toxins via bites or stings and cause severe pain. The report advises desert visitors to keep a safe distance and use first aid measures like applying ice — immediate medical care is recommended if symptoms worsen.  The Arizona Republic

  • Trey McBride signed a four-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday that will keep him with the team through 2029, and the contract is worth $76 million & includes $43 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid tight end. The 25-year-old from Colorado State set a record with 221 catches in his first three seasons and is expected to add even more value to the team in the coming years.  12 News
