- ➤ Researchers at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine are studying if IGF-1 influences dog brain aging after finding that big dogs die younger yet show similar cognitive decline as small dogs. They are recruiting local dogs between 10 and 13 years that weigh between 33 and 55 pounds. 12 News
