- ➤ SRP announced it will lower summer electricity rates by 3% from May through October (saving customers about $5.50 on average) as higher retail sales and lower fuel prices allowed the board to pass along savings for Valley households. - ➤ AAA reported that Arizona gas prices increased by $1.37 per gallon, bringing the statewide average for regular gasoline to $4.63, with the steepest rates in Phoenix and the lowest in Yuma. The rise comes amid global oil supply disruptions due to the Iran conflict & higher spring break demand. KTAR
- ➤ Gas prices in Maricopa County reached over $5 per gallon on March 26, with the state's average rising $1.35 from last month, said Patrick De Haan (gasbuddly.com). He attributed the surge to the summer blend, a refinery closure, and growing demand, while potential Iran talks may ease costs. KJZZ

- ➤ TSA lines at Phoenix Sky Harbor have ranged from 6 to 30 minutes, with some Terminal 4 checkpoints closed due to unpaid workers during a shutdown. - ➤ Arizonans who bought a Choice Home Warranty between Jan. 1, 2013 and Jan. 1, 2023 are now eligible to claim restitution from the $11.8 million settlement reached by the Attorney General’s office on March 26 (claims will be paid as funds become available). - ➤ The Diamondbacks open the season today at Dodger Stadium at 5:30 p.m. with Zac Gallen facing Dodgers’ Yoshinobu Yamamoto — the team finalized its roster by adding Ildemaro Vargas along with relievers Jonathan Loaisiga and Joe Ross while placing several pitchers on the injured list.
