- ➤ A survey by Noble Predictive Insights shows 40% of voters say housing affordability is a top concern as rising costs force many to consider leaving. More than one in four voters have thought of moving out while a typical metro Phoenix family spends 39% of its income on a median priced home — a clear sign of the growing financial strain. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Congressman Raul Grijalva died in Tucson on March 13 at 77 from lung cancer—he had served his community for over 50 years. Gov. Katie Hobbs must call a special election within 72 hours to fill his 7th District seat. 12 News
- ➤ Lawmakers moved forward with HB 2281, a bill that would create an alert system for missing Indigenous people after the Senate Public Safety Committee passed it and it now awaits a full Senate vote. The bill was introduced after 14-year-old Emily Pike of the San Carlos Apache Tribe was found murdered—DPS would send alerts only when all investigative leads have run out. The Arizona Republic
