- ➤ Arizona wildlife officials advise residents to stay alert for rattlesnake encounters as temperatures warm. They recommend cleaning yard debris and keeping flashlights handy at night (rattlesnakes are most active from March to October) to reduce risks. KTAR

- ➤ Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Corbin Carroll is progressing well after hand surgery (set for Opening Day on March 26) as he continues intensive rehab at Salt River Fields. The team will delay his return if extra recovery time is needed. The Arizona Republic
