  • Experts say homelessness among infants and toddlers increased 23 percent since 2021, with over 5,700 young children counted in Arizona — nearly 2 percent of kids under age three. High housing costs and rising parenting expenses have contributed to fewer children receiving help through home visiting and early learning programs.  KJZZ

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Six airlines will offer Early Bag Check on Wednesday at Phoenix Sky Harbor via Bags (a Metropolis company) so travelers can check up to two bags at the Rental Car Center and East Economy Parking. Counters open daily from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.  KTAR

  • Attorney General Kris Mayes announced a $12 million settlement with a home warranty company known for celebrity endorsements that may offer refunds to thousands of Arizonans.  12 News

  • Maricopa County health officials warned on Feb. 9 that anyone who visited Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor on Jan. 29 between 4 and 8:30 p.m. might have been exposed to measles and should watch for symptoms until Feb. 19.  The Arizona Republic

  • Pitchers and catchers reported to Camelback Ranch in Glendale Tuesday to start MLB's 2026 spring training + the Cactus League will feature games that include matchups with national teams in upcoming events.  KJZZ
  • At Salt River Fields, three injured Diamondbacks pitchers began spring training workouts Tuesday after their elbow surgeries last year. Burnes aims to return by the All-Star break, Puk may be ready by early May, and Martinez could be back by late August, according to team officials.  The Arizona Republic
