  • The Arizona Diamondbacks completed a trade Tuesday with St. Louis, acquiring eight-time All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado — the deal also included minor league pitcher Jack Martinez and $31 million.   • Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker said after a Jan. 13 shootaround at Kaseya Center that his play is strong despite finishing 17th in fan votes—he may join the All-Star game as a reserve if media and player votes boost his tally, with voting closing today.  The Arizona Republic
