- ➤ Cardinals tight end Trey McBride was named a first-team All-Pro yesterday after setting an NFL record with 126 receptions, 1,239 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns in 2025. His honor marks the first time a tight end earned the accolade for the team since Budda Baker in 2020. The Arizona Republic
- ➤ Arizona State basketball beat Kansas State 87-84 at Desert Financial Arena on Jan. 10, snapping a four-game losing streak. Coach Bobby Hurley said the win boosted team morale ahead of upcoming games against Arizona and Houston. The Arizona Republic
- ➤ On Saturday, Jan. 10, the Diamondbacks traded outfielder Jake McCarthy to the Colorado Rockies in exchange for pitcher Josh Grosz. Grosz, 23, had minor league experience last season while McCarthy, drafted 39th overall in 2018, spent five seasons with the team. The Arizona Republic
